To respond to the increase in local COVID-19 cases and prevent crowds from gathering caused by the public waiting at the site in a long line for applications for police criminal record certificates, the Department now opens for applications online, mails, and app for the convenience of the public to avoid waiting at the site and cross-infection risk. Additionally, to incorporate pandemic prevention and control measures, the Department requests applicants who come to the Department for applications for police criminal record certificates to wear masks (no masks will be provided by the Department), register with real names, have their body temperature taken and have their hands disinfected with alcohol. No entrance to the Department is allowed for any visitor who does not wear a mask or has a body temperature over 37.5°C.
