To cooperate with Central Epidemic Command Center’s relaxation of relevant epidemic prevention measures between March 1 and March 31, the Department’s Foreign Affairs Division will restore the instant certificate issuance service for “Police Criminal Record Certificate” (except for those who must make an inquiry through the judiciary or military judiciary due to related records) on March 1 of this year (2022).
In addition, to enhance the quality of civil services and save the time of travelling to and from the police precinct, the Department will run a pilot scheme on the “Online Application and Precinct Pickup Service”. Citizen can choose the location (Foreign Affairs Division of the police headquarters or a police precinct) that they want to pick up the certificate in the comment section of the online application form, and the certificate will be available for pickup once the requisite documents are verified at the designated place on the 3rd day after the application (except for those who must make an inquiry through the judiciary or military judiciary due to related records).

To support epidemic control measures, citizens who come to the Department or related units are required to wear a facial mask (the Department does not provide visitors with any facial mask), make a real-name registration, pass the body temperature check and sterile their hands with alcohol.
