Restriction applies to the length, width, and height of motorcycles and their loads

The police would like to remind drivers to be careful when driving with items attached to motorcycles. According to Article 38 of the Traffic Safety Regulation, the length of ordinary heavy motorcycles shall not exceed 2.5 meters, the width shall not exceed 1.3 meters, and the height shall not exceed 2 meters to avoid affecting driving safety. In the case of an accident please remain at the scene to clarify responsibilities for the accident, and comply with relevant regulations. Even if there is no injury, the violator may still be subject to a fine between NTD 1,000 and NTD 3,000. Hit-and-run drivers will have their driver's licenses suspended for one to three months.
