The Department’s 110 reporting hotline for individuals with hearing and speech impairment is 0911-510-915; and the fax reporting hotline is 04-25368667. Individuals who need to report an incident or require emergency medical assistance can call the 110 hotline for help. However, those with hearing and speech impairment often face challenges in expressing their needs through regular channels. During incidents, they often have to rely on sending text messages or faxes to friends or family members for assistance, which can lead to potential loss of life, property, and other rights. To address this issue, the Department has established a simplified fax reporting hotline and a mobile phone SMS reporting hotline specifically for individuals with hearing and speech impairment in 2008. The aim is to provide them with more convenient reporting options.
