Combating fraud is an enduring battle. To more effectively achieve practical results in fraud prevention campaigns, the police employ various sensory stimuli such as videos, printed materials, and face-to-face interactions to strengthen the public's ability to recognize and prevent fraud in their everyday lives. The Jian Kang Police Station, Third Precinct, Taichung City Police Department, has also partnered with several radio stations in its jurisdiction to play pre-recorded fraud prevention content during programs. By harnessing the power of sound, they subtly instill anti-fraud awareness deep in the hearts and minds of the people. As fraud crimes become more rampant and tactics more advanced, in addition to various awareness campaigns in communities, the Jian Kang Police Station of the Third Precinct also reaches out to the public through the airwaves by collaborating with 8 radio stations in its jurisdiction, including Happy Radio, SKYRADIO, Taichung Broadcasting, Broadcasting Corporation of China, and Classical Radio. These stations play fraud prevention recordings titled “All People United Against Fraud” during their programs. Featuring influential figures and internet celebrities, these recordings not only analyze common fraud schemes but also spread awareness beyond geographical restrictions. By letting their voices resonate in daily life, the public gains a better understanding of fraud detection and prevention. People also become more alert to the tactics and manipulative language used by fraud groups, reducing their chances of falling victim. It also helps people stay alert to the tactics and deceptive language used by fraud organizations, reducing the chances of falling victim to scams. The police have noted that scam tactics are constantly evolving and adapting to the latest events. The deceptive language used in scams often makes it difficult for many people to distinguish between true and false, leading them to unknowingly trust fraud organizations. However, the key to countering these schemes is not elusive. By consistently verifying information and asking questions, one can surely identify the flaws in scam tactics. To enhance security during important holidays, when measures need reinforcement, the police will persistently continue their efforts in anti-fraud awareness campaigns to raise public awareness and encourage vigilance. Individuals are advised to utilize the 165 Anti-Fraud Hotline or call 110 to report suspicions if there are any uncertainties about money transfers or transactions. Exercising extra caution can significantly reduce the risk of potential losses.
