In order to assist the development of Taichung City's local characteristic industries – bicycle and sport equipment industries, Taichung City’s existing advantageous industries including “bicycle industry”, “sport equipment industry”, “tourism and leisure industry” and “local cultural creative industry”, are combined together with promotional events to create a quality city of the future emphasizing on green environmental protection, humanistic care, friendly environment and international visibility, thereby accomplishing the developmental blueprint for a burgeoning “health industry”.
