7/23, just a hundred days before the 2018 Flora Expo, City Government’s celebration concert at Taichung Civic Square is joining by singer William Wei, Jia Jia, Soft Lipa, and many more local talents and bands. Stalls of flower farmers and creative goods await everyone to come to the event with decorating flowers to turn the venue into a grand flower bed.

To set a mark of the day a hundred before the Flora Expo which will be open 11/3 - 4/24 at Houli, Fengyuan and Waipu, the “Flora Expo 100 To The Future” concert will be featuring numerous Taichung based performers and bands.

Not only William Wei, Jia Jia, Totem, Soft Lipa, and Lulu to cover the event, local talents, including BIKE, 929, Silverbus and One Step, will bring great performance as well.

Taichung, the city of flowers, has art & culture events ongoing every day. On the event not only the performance of the singers, there will also be farmer’s market inviting the citizens to bring favorite flowers with them to the Civic Square. The colorful scene is going to be a brilliant preview to Flora Expo.

The theme “Discover GNP” of Taichung Flora Expo changes cold digits of GNP” into Green, Nature and People (Humanity). Information Bureau sends invitation to everyone to open their mind and listen to the earth’s messages. The floral feast brings participants the reflection of the relationship between human and the nature, and give Anne’s definition to GNP, says Information Bureau. Flora Expo is more than a one-time event as the sustainable project will move up together with surrounding transportation, economics, tourism, and other relevant construction, contributing eternal development to local area.
