The Taichung City Fullness Star Theater, which has been well-tended by the City Government, won recognition and support of the city’s denizens. Another 5 showings between March and June will be held to meet people’s high expectations; denizens are welcome to enjoy these free movies.

According to the Urban Development Bureau, despite being an outdoor theater, it was excavated in underground topography to exclude interference from noises from surrounding shops, traffic, and light from advertisement neon lights. The theatre boasts acoustic and lighting effects comparable to state-of-the-art theaters. 10 movies were selected carefully from animation favorites for children and popular award-winning movies. Each time, two movies were scheduled respectively at 6 PM and 8PM to simultaneously satisfy parents and children’s demands, and before movies are shown a mystery gift was prepared for the audience giving a right answer about the movies.

The showing schedule of 5 movies includes: Mar. 24th, Apr. 14th, Apr. 28th, May 26th, and Jun. 2nd, and Open Season and The Devil Wears Prada were the movies in the first showing.

The Taichung City Fullness Star Theater is held in the Round Theater at the crossing of Siangshang Road and Wen Shin Road, opposite DaShin Elementary School.
