Flora Expo Fengyuan Huludun Park “How-To” Gives You Glass Garden

Taichung Flora Expo will open on November 3, and of all three zones, the only one with river flowing through, the Huludun Park, will have Taiwan’s first Glass Garden. Today (9) Land Administration Bureau held a press on Huludun Park’s “How To Best Organize Your Trip” at Taichung City Hall, introducing the must-visits, from the glass art and flower bed in Zone 1, to the Racing Garden of Zone 2, a 213m long “Flower Hallway” of Zone 3, Enterprise Hall in Zone 4, and Zone 5’s “The Earth Palette”. A visual feast is awaiting.

Today Land Administration Bureau held a press for the How-To” of the Area. The presentation was made by Bureau Director Zhang Zhi-xiang, Deputy Director/Head of Huludun Park Liu Zhi-neng, and Flora Expo Spokesperson Zheng Fei-fang.

Using the Park and Ruanpizai River itself, the area is built into a scenic attraction. “The flower village by the bank” presents life, humanity, water, and green space, says the Head of Huludun Park.

The first ever Glass Park in Taiwan, Huludun Park, with “Happy Marriage” as theme, creates five zones, I: Glass Art & Flower Bed; II: “Racing Garden” of competitors from around the country; III: a 213m long “Flower Hallway”; IV: the “Enterprise Hall”, Taiwan’s largest bamboo structure & folding steel art; V: “Earth Palette”, a river-land art work based on family concept. A field of dreamland.

The Zone features various themed decorations: “Xixangfeng Hall”, “County & City Garden”, “Enterprise Garden”. Each connects and enriches the Riverbank Village; The “Xixangfeng Hall” hosts Taichung special cakes. Inspired by technology, the traditional sweets is introduced with art of flower, letting viewers enjoy a feast of cakes in fragrant blossom.

Liu mentioned that to present the beautiful flowers from around Taiwan, City Government invited Taipei City, Taoyuan City, Miaoli County, Nantou County, Zhanghua County, Yunlin County, Tainan City and Penghu County, 8 local governments for co-exhibition. The great achievement can be found in Zone 1 “County & City Garden”. Visitors are welcome to join us at Huludun Park.

Huludun Park starts on November 3. Free entry 09:00-17:00 on weekdays , and 09:00-21:00 on weekends. Lights on after 18:00 and turns the village into a glamour site.
