Drivers on Taiwan's freeways (motorways) are charged a toll at regular toll stations. These are color coded according to vehicles and payment method: red booths for pre-paid tickets, and green booths for cash. A single car is currently charged NT$40 at each toll station, which also sells books of pre-paid tickets (also sold at post offices and gas stations).
