
Organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Taichung City Government at the Houli Horse Farm, the 2012 Taichung Instruments Festival will hold an opening ceremony on October 6 and 7. This will include a parade featuring many popular cartoon figures, floats, festival dancers, and over 30 musical artists and groups performing on three main stages. Participants are also welcome to the five musical experience areas that allow them to play, produce or fix instruments, and see how instruments are made.
The 2012 Taichung International Saxophone Competition on October 17 and 19 will see outstanding saxophone players from all over the world displaying their talents for the people of Taichung. From October 20 to 28, a series of 2012 Taichung Jazz Festival evemts will also features many world-famous jazz groups and artists. Taichung welcomes you to enjoy a delightful month of jazz!
