To celebrate Christmas, Taichung City Government is holding its 2013 Taichung City Christmas Concert on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 6 p.m. at Fulfillment Amphitheater. This concert will feature Golden Melody Awards winners Ying Zheng-yang and Ilid Kaolo; the Seven Wolves police-officer band from Guguan in Heping district; Civilian Skunk from Japan; Wailing Soul from South Africa; and Viator Catholic High School's pop music band, orchestra and wind band. Concert organizers are also seeking Taichung residents to form a Taichung resident orchestra and a 100-member choir that will perform a Christmas medley.

Besides this large-scale musical concert, the city's Cultural Affairs Bureau has also planned an event that collects gifts from Taichung residents and distributes them to the city’s charity organizations, allowing them to spread love to minority families and children in hospitals. Regardless of whether you're an adult or child, everyone is invited to share the joy and warmth of the holiday season!
