Consumers just have to complete the download of the APP to be launched on June 28 with successful registration by noon on July 9 and will have the very best opportunity of winning a stay at the presidential suite. Consumers could register any invoice issued in Taichung City or spend NT$500 or more at any of the preferred shops during the Taichung Shopping Festival to have the opportunity of winning great prices like multimillion luxurious home, million dollar limousine, and presidential suite in the lucky draw, according to Director Kao Ssu-Hsiang of the Economic Development Bureau.

The Economic Development Bureau has launched the “Taichung GO Treasure Hunt” game for attracting the public to visit the famous scenic spots of Taichung. People just need to download the APP, and visit any of the Top 100 wedding gown and photography spots and the trade circles of Taichung for shopping, and search for the virtual mascot through the AR function of the APP. If adequate bonus points have been accumulated, consumers could use the bonus points to redeem souvenirs from the participating shops free of charge.

Limited edition mascots will also be presented during the festival so that children could also joint the treasure hunt and get double bonus points. The exclusive APP will be unveiled for downloading on June 28. The download should be completed by noon July 9 with successful registration.
