The Cultural Affairs Bureau and the Economic Development Bureau of Taichung City Government collaborate to launch the Dress Code event, where the general public may receive limited edition gifts by dressing up in designated clothes or styles while taking photos with the cardboard cutouts and upload to the event Facebook when visiting the 10 cultural centers and tourism factories in Taichung City. Deputy Mayor Chiung-Ying Yang has specially put on “Chopper” style hat from One Piece today (20th) to promote the event with all efforts, inviting everyone to have fun in Taichung.
For today’s event promotional press conference, the event vibe was bustling with director Ta-Chun Chang of the Cultural Affairs Bureau and director Feng-Yuan Chang of the Economic Development Bureau also cosplaying for the event, acting as cartoon characters from One Piece, together with the participation from Shengang district head Wen-Hsuan Liu and Tanzi district head Kuo-Sheng Lin.
The Cultural Affairs Bureau indicated that the city government has invited in total 10 cultural centers and tourism factories to join this event, including Taichung Literature Museum, Natural Way Six Arts Cultural Center, Taichung Military Kindred Village Museum, Miso Cultural Factory, city monument Zhaixing Villa, Fengyuan Lacquer Art Museum, Amazing A Optical Tourism Factory, Okuma Center, Shen Ma Jun Horse Theme Park and Taiwan Balloons Museum…etc.
The event is launched bustlingly from today until December 31st, where the general public may receive small gifts by dressing up in clothes conforming to the characteristics of each center, or take photos with the cardboard cutouts at the event site, and then like and upload photos to the “Taichung Cultural Vanguard” Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/TaichungCulture) of the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Taichung City Government as well as sharing the page when visiting the various centers, everyone is welcome to participate.
