Due to the easing pandemic situation, eight parent-children centers in the Taichung City resumed accepting the original number of visitors from 10 groups to 60 groups today on June 7th after the announcement to start operation on May 19th with the allowance of half groups to be admitted. The Director General of the Social Affairs Bureau, Peng Huai-Chen reminded that in order to maintain the health of parents and children, the parent-children centers will assist their visitors to check body temperature, disinfect hands and register real names. Overall disinfection will be conducted at centers in the morning and in the afternoon for the safety of the public.
According to the Social Affairs Bureau, in order to respond to the new life movement of pandemic prevention and control, eight parent-children centers resumed operation since May 19th and in addition to teaching instrument and toy borrowing services, various events, parental education and admission were also provided, but only half of the original admission numbers was allowed. Now due to the eased pandemic situation, parent-children centers since June 7th resumed normal operations including original courses, events and admission numbers.
The Social Affairs Bureau pointed out that to protect health of parents and children at the centers, various pandemic prevention and control measures shall be incorporated. Additionally, the Social Affairs Bureau pointed out that it has been about two weeks after parent-children centers resumed their operations gradually and to accommodate the event of "Parent-Children Month-Visiting the Parent-Children Centers in the Taichung City," 67 T-shirts with the mascot of the Parent-Children Centers in the Taichung City will be given away.
