Tourism in Taichung has been known to the world. A couple of days ago, the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) announced the winners of the 2020 Gold Awards. The "Perfect Fun Tours in Taichung - the Tourism Manual" was successfully awarded bringing one more special honor to the tourism achievements of Taichung.
According to the Director General of the Tourism and Travel Bureau, Lin Shiau-chi, the PATA consists of members including 80 national and regional governments and thousands of professionals. The 2020 PATA Gold Awards attracted the participation of 62 units and 121 works. This is the first-time participation of the Bureau and it was unsure about winning the Gold Awards for the "Perfect Fun Tours in Taichung-the Tourism Manual." Director General Lin thanked everyone for the support and recognition from various fields towards the planning, design and editing of the Manual.
Director General Lin pointed out that the "Perfect Fun Tours in Taichung - the Tourism Manual" was published in four languages including Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean at the same time and she believed that this publication will tell the world that Taichung is a vigorous and exciting city, with absolutely the best tourist destinations.
According to the Bureau, Taichung is spacious with unique tourism features of mountains, oceans, hills and a metropolitan city. The "Perfect Fun Tours in Taichung - the Tourism Manual" planned tours for two days and one night by carefully selecting the best tourism sites in Taichung and the whole book introduced the only Acacia walk path in Taiwan, "Dakeng Hiking and Walk Path," Taiwan's most beautiful sunset on "Kaomei Wetlands," Taiwan's folk religious center, "Dajia Zhanlan Temple," the 100-year historical site, "Taichung Park," "Dongfeng Bike Lane" rebuilt from the tracks of the Taiwan Railway, a vigorous "Rainbow Village," luxurious and exclusive "Wufeng Lin's Garden," the world's most complicated architecture, the "National Taichung Theater," beautiful and natural hot spring site, "Guguang Hot Springs" and the well-known night market in Central Taiwan, the "Fengjia Night Market" in an interesting and interactive manner.
