During the "Taichung Women Shopping Festival," in addition to daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and final lucky draws for grand prizes such as 60.284 ounces of gold, the Taichung City Government now teamed up with local businesses to launch the "daily lucky draws" of featured products. With the coming of the Chinese Lunar New Year, the Economic Development Bureau gave extra values to add hundreds of prizes including vouchers for department stores, wholesale stores and outlet malls as well as experiential tickets to sports centers. Shoppers were invited to register their consumption invoices on app of "Taichung Shopping Festival" to win prizes of small happiness for the New Year!
According to the Bureau of Economic Development, the Economic Development Bureau said the "2020 Taichung Women Shopping Festival" started since December 9th last year and consumers with the uniform invoice at the amount of NT$500 up at any shop in Taichung registered on the "app of Taichung Shopping Festival" to receive a serial number and were eligible for the "daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and final lucky draws" for winning grand prizes of cosmetics and skincare products of NT$30,000, vouchers of NT$100,000, massage chair of NT$80,000, a sedan car of NT$500,000 a diamond ring of NT$30,000 and the grand prize of 60.284 ounces of gold.
The Bureau further said in addition to grand prizes, during the festival, it teamed up with the beauty, sports, hospitality and the retailing industry to launch the featured "daily lucky draw of small happiness products" provided by cooperative shops to help develop local industries.
The "daily lucky draw of small happiness products" gave away more than 3,000 prizes such as cosmetic and skincare products, various coupons, essential oil for hair, chicken essence and coffee gift set. Now prizes also included vouchers of Carrefour, Mitsui Outlet Park and SHIN KONG MITSUKOSH, Chinese Lunar New Year gift vouchers of Dawn Pineapple Cake and experiential tickets to National Sports Centers in Chaoma, Changchun, Port District and North District.
Chang Chun-Yuan, Director General of the Economic Development Bureau emphasized that there are various prizes of lucky draws offered during the festival for consumers of all genders and age groups and as long as shoppers shop in Taichung with the amount of NT$500 and up, they become eligible for entering a "small happiness" and "daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and the final lucky draw." With more registered uniform invoice, the chance to win a grand prize is higher. Consumers were encouraged to download the app of "Taichung Shopping Festival" and register their invoice numbers to win the grand prizes of the lucky draws.
