To provide a better bus riding environment, the Transportation Bureau of the Taichung City Government on "Taichung Public Bus" app and Taichung City Real-time Dynamic Public Bus System introduced "Bus Stop Repair Report" function for the public to report issues timely such as damage, graffiti or unauthorized posters on bus stops via apps on their cell phones or websites. After receiving a report, the Taichung City Government will come to conduct repairing as soon as possible to maintain the bus waiting environment. Yeh Chao-fu, Director General of the Transportation Bureau, pointed out that if the public finds the bus stop sign being damaged, tilt, lost or willfully destructed or there has been graffiti or missed or damaged route information, they can use the "Bus Stop Repair Report" function "Taichung Public Bus" app and Taichung City Real-time Dynamic Public Bus System ( http://citybus.taichung.gov.tw/ebus ) to report the said problem or provide on-site photos for the Bureau to conduct immediate repairing. Director General Yeh said Taichung City is spacious with many bus routes and stops and in order to make the best use of limited inspection manpower, the Bureau initiated the bus stop repairing report function by inviting the public to jointly maintain bus stops for better public bus waiting environment in Taichung.
