The official operations of the Taichung MRT Green Line was scheduled at 12:00 on April 25th and the Taichung MRT Corporation planned to organize the "Pulse of Taiwan" Concert at 19:00 on that evening at Yuanman Theater of Wenxin Forest Park as performed by the Golden Melody Awards winning band, MIXER, All Mighty Girl, Huang Yu-en, also known as Winnie Huang, and contestants of Jungle Voice. Everyone is invited to the concert by riding on the MRT to jointly celebrate the official operations of the Taichung MRT and new public transportation life in Taichung.
The 30-day test run of the Taichung Green Line for free rides started from March 25th and at the opening ceremony on April 24th, the MRT services were scheduled to be halted one day for the preparation of official operations that was planned to begin at noontime. The Taichung MRT Corporation will organize the "Taichung Pulse Concert" on that evening at Yuanman Theater next to Wenxin Forest Park Station of the Taichung MRT for easy accesses from the MRT.
The Taichung MRT Corporation pointed out that the leading performance of the "Taichung Pulse" Concert will be performed by the 25th Golden Melody Awards winning Band, MIXER, for its release of the first album. The Ban, one of the favorite bands of citizens in Taichung, was especially invited to the "Rock Taichung" music festival held by the Taichung City Government from 2017 to 2020. On the concert day, six popular songs including, "LoVSer," "Fei Fei," "Voice," "Hello," "Beloved Animals" as well as the passionate remix cooperated with Richie Ren, "Re-departure in 2020" aiming for curtailing the pandemic will be performed to give the light of hope to overcome the pandemic.
Huang Yu-en, Winnie, who is nicknamed the "All Mighty Girl" with more than 880,000 followers on Instagram was also invited to the concert. She will show her singing strength on that day in addition to her young, vigorous, and cute image. After publishing two albums, Winnie created the records of more than a million views and will perform various self written songs including "Ask You," "To Be Continued," and "Lang Lang Wound." She will bring young vigor on behalf of those born in the 1990s to the Taichung MRT.
Additionally, the contestants of popular Jungle Voice were also invited to the concert including the Queen of High Pitch Singing, Li Chia-Huan, the best female singer of graduation songs, Hsu Wei-Fang, the best singer and dancer, Lin Yi-Ting, the new hip hop representative, Wu Fei, the signer with the warm male voice, Cheng Ke-Chiang, and the female youth representatives, Chen Si-Ling. Li Chia-Huang and Hsu Wei-Fang will jointly perform the classical song, "If…" to symbolize important moments in life between the Taichung MRT and its riders. Wu Fei will release his brand new creation to greet the beginning of the official operations of the Taichung MRT.
The Taichung MRT Corporation pointed out that the official operations of the Taichung MRT Green Line marks a new milestone for public transportation in Central Taiwan. Everyone is invited to arrive at the concert by public transportation. Get off at Wenxin Forest Park Station of the MRT or take Bus Line 5, 53, 73, 83, 89, 157, 290, 356, 359 or 800 to get to the Park. There are three stops of the Smile Bike on Wenxin Rd., Xiangshang Rd. and Huiwen Road adjacent to the Park and please make the best use of these bikes. To respond to pandemic prevention and control measures, an infrared thermometer will be installed at the entrance to measure body temperature of visitors and alcohol-based hand sanitizer will be provided. Visitors should always wear a face mask during the concert and real name registration is required. No food and drink will be sold at the venue. Let us work together to safeguard our health.
