Announcement of the 2021 Relief Package in Response to the Pandemic Outbreak by the Taichung City Parking Management Office

In response of the pandemic outbreak, the following relief measures are conducted for private operators of BOT projects and entrusted operators of public parking lots:
A. Deferred or exempted loyalty and rent payment of BOT projects of public parking lots
(1) Payees: private operators of BOT projects of public parking lots.
(2) Measures: Projects involving the promotion of public-private partnership shall proceed according to the letters sent from the Ministry of Finance in response to several pandemic impacts for reduced, deferred or stage payments on a case- by-case basis.
B. Deferred or exempted measures for loyalty payments made by entrusted operators of public parking lots:
(1) Payees: entrusted operators of BOT projects of public parking lots.
(2) Measures: During the pandemic, the public reduces the frequencies to go out and that impacted on the revenue of public parking lots. Therefore, measures to reduce loyalty payments made by the entrusted operators of public parking lots are implemented. All entrusted operators of public parking lots shall be deducted with 20% loyalty payments of the current term (from July to September) and those with more than 50% reduced revenue from public parking lots due to the pandemic impact shall be deducted with 50% loyalty payments of the current term (from July to September) after approval. Operators with relevant proof documents shall be eligible for an application of deferred loyalty payments for two terms, up to six months per term, but any payment date shall not be later than that of the loyalty payments of the final term.
