【Construction News】 "The C711 Fengshi Interchange Construction of National Highway #4 Taichung Loop Line Fengyuan Tanzi Section" will use off peak hours in the first half of August, 2021. Eastbound or westbound driveway of Section 3 of GuoFeng Rd. will be closed (between Fengshi Rd. and Xinshan Line Railway Bridge) for the roadside construction of main lane on Fengyuan Viaduct. I. Traffic control schedules and routes are: 1. It was scheduled to close the westbound driveway of Section 3 of GuoFeng Rd. from August 2nd to August 5th and August 9th and August 12th, 2021 from 9:00 to 16:00; 2. It was scheduled to close eastbound driveway of Section 3 of GuoFeng Rd. from August 6th to August 13th, 2021 from 9:00 to 16:00; and 3. Please refer to the attached table for closure date of the said driveways. II. Reminders: (1) In respond to the construction to close the eastbound or westbound driveway on Section 3 of GuoFeng Rd., during the traffic control period, road users are requested to use detours or alternative routes to maintain a smooth traffic flow; road users can also listen to Police Radio Station（FM94.5） to get the newest traffic conditions and to avoid wasting valuable time; (2) When passing through road sections nearby the construction area, do follow the traffic conductors’ instructions and relevant guidance to slow down and to avoid traffic accidents; (3) For more information, road users can call 04-26153500（The Materials Testing Laboratory of the 2nd Construction Department, the Freeway Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications(MOTC)）or visit the website of the 2nd Construction Department, the Freeway Bureau of the MOTC（https://www.freeway.gov.tw/SEO/）. Eastbound (heading for Dongshi from National Highway #1): HouFeng Interchange→Section 2 of GuoFeng Rd.→Fengke Rd.→Section 6 of Fengyuan Boulevard→Section 2 of Fengshi Rd. 2. Westbound (from Dongshi to National Highway #1)：Section 2 of Fengshi Rd.→Section 6 of Fengyuan Boulevard→Fengke Rd.→Section 2 of GuoFeng Rd.→HouFeng Interchange. IV.
