【Construction News】For the Connection Construction of the Interchange between National Highway #1 and Taiwan Provincial Highway #74, there is a need to close the eastbound driveway of Section 1 of Huanzhong Rd. for a long period of time to construct the bridge foundation and bridge pillar structure. 1. Traffic control time and sections: From January 5th, 2021 to March 13th, 2023, the eastbound driveway of Section 1 of Huandong Rd. will be closed around the clock while the middle and inner lanes (from the "Fruit and Vegetable Market on Lane 215 to Dafu Rd.") will remain open during the construction. 2. Reminders: (1) During the traffic control period, two lanes will remain open and road users are requested to use detours or alternative routes to maintain a smooth traffic flow. Road users can also listen to Police Radio Station（FM94.5） to get the newest traffic conditions and to avoid wasting valuable time; (2) When passing through road sections near the construction area, do follow traffic conductors’ instructions and relevant directional guidance to slow down and to avoid traffic accidents; (3) For more road closure information, road users can call 1999（the Taichung Citizen Hotline）or 04-25575017（The 1st Construction Office of the 2nd Construction Department, the Freeway Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications(MOTC) or go to the website of the 2nd Construction Department, the Freeway Bureau of the Ministry of MOTC（https://www.freeway.gov.tw/SEO/）.
