Reputed by foreign media as one of the must-visit international scenicspots, the worldly renowned Gaomei Wetland is a classic hotspot of Taichung as its beautifulsunset view keeps many visitors coming back for more. In response to the online tourism and live streaming trends, the Tourism and Travel Bureau of Taichung City Government has cooperated with Taichung Municipal Qing Shui Preschool to add the 4K live stream video of Gaomei Wetland to the Taichung Tourism website. Starting from January 1 of this year, domestic and foreign visitors of the website will be able to see the beautiful coastline of Taichung online without going out (https://travel.taichung.gov.tw/zh-tw/live-camera/55).
Director of the Bureau Han Yu-chi expressed that the 4K live stream video of Gaomei Wetland was now debuted on the website of Taichung Tourism website. Accompanied by beautiful music, the high-resolution images of Gaomei wetland can now be accessed through mobile device or computer, allowing users to see all of the superb views of Taichung’s coastline. Users are also welcome to recommend the live stream video of Gaomei Wetland to their family and friends, enabling them to have an online travel that heals both mind and body.
The Bureau expressed that smart tourism was one of the post-pandemic tourism trends that helped to revive the tourism industry. It is hoped that, through the high-quality online browsing experience, domestic and foreign visitors to the website can enjoy the superb view of Taichung’s landscape without time difference.
