Subject: Rates and standards of Taichung City’s public parking facilities (curbside and off-street parking lots) for large motorcycles (total cylinder displacement volume of 250cc or more)
Legal basis:
1. Articles 14, 25 and 31 of Parking Facility Act, and Articles 4 and 8 of “Taichung City Self-government Ordinance for Public Parking Charges”.
2. Articles 56 and 92 of Road Traffic Management and Penalty Act
3. Article 190 of Regulation Governing the Establishment of Traffic Signs and Traffic Markings.
4. Article 112 of Road Traffic Safety Regulations.
Announcements:
1. Rates and methods: Large motorcycles parked in a parking lot will be charged according to the parking rates and standards of small cars. Only one large heavy motorcycle can be parked in a small car parking space for; and each large motorcycle parked will be charged according to the parking period, methods and rate announced on site.
2. Implementation period: Starting from 00:00 on March 1, 2022.
3. Announcement Jhong-Shih-Jiao-Ting-Guan-Zih No. 1030020050 issued by the Bureau on May 12, 2014 will be abolished on March 1, 2022.
