The "Taichung MRT 2nd Anniversary" press conference officially took place at the MRT City Hall Station today. "The 2nd anniversary of Taichung MRT, YA!" Mayor Lu said with a smile that "2" and "YA" are the same hand gesture, so the city government held the biggest celebration of the 2nd anniversary through such an idea. "Those that cannot start must begin, and those that cannot finish must complete!" Mayor Lu emphasized that the Taichung MRT Green Line, which has been under construction for the longest time in Taiwan, finally started construction on April 25, two years ago, when the epidemic was severe.
