The "PARK2 Calligraphy Square", located at the hub of Calligraphy Greenway in Taichung City, has transformed into a living space resembling an urban oasis through public-private cooperation. It has green landmarks and park space planning, which has won numerous awards. The "SPORT 2GO Playground" design on the basement floor stood out recently, with almost 11,000 entries from 56 countries. The work has won one of the world's four major design awards, recognized by the "iF DESIGN AWARD 2023", which is known as an Oscar in the design industry.

Mei-Xiu Chen, the director of the Tourism and Travel Bureau of the Taichung City Government, stated that PARK2 Calligraphy Square won the iF DESIGN AWARD 2023 (Germany), which is the fifth design award after the Muse Design Awards (USA), Good Design Award (Japan), Golden Pin Design Award, and Taiwan Design Best100! After restarting the investment promotion and taking over the management from CMP Group, it has played a "slash function" in the field full of green plants, introducing multiple spaces such as shopping malls, restaurants, rest, and sports. Since its opening at the beginning of last year, it has continued to attract different groups of customers to come and experience it. This has added to the unique sightseeing charm of Calligraphy Greenway.

The Tourism and Travel Bureau indicated that according to the statistics of the number of tourists from the main tourist and recreational strongholds of the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, Calligraphy Greenway attracted about 5.65 million tourists last year. It is a growth of nearly 10% compared to the previous year, indicating signs of recovery in the tourism market. Among them, PARK2 Calligraphy Square, located at the center of the Calligraphy Greenway Block and emerging on the international stage, we can say it plays a significant role in attracting innovative visitors. Moreover, it connects with neighboring attractions such as the National Museum of Natural Science, Shen Ji New Village, and the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts. The management team, CMP Group, pointed out that the "SPORT 2GO Playground" extends from the "Street Design Project of the Calligraphy Greenway Block" proposed by CMP PUJEN FOUNDATION. Cutting into the insufficiency of Taiwanese sports, starting from the common amusement facilities in the park, the concept of using one carrier, like one platform truck, can pack and take them away to enable "sports" to take place in the PARK2 Calligraphy Square! Whether it's the most popular jungle gym, a table tennis match PK in the morning, or a basketball game after work, which can effectively utilize the team's designed sports field and layout works. The work won the "iF DESIGN AWARD 2023 Hospitality Interiors of Interior Architecture Discipline and Category" award, hoping to create a different daily sports experience and organic form of sports space in the city, so that Taichung can shine on the international design stage.

According to the Tourism and Travel Bureau, PARK2 Calligraphy Square derives from the homonym of Part 2, which represents the 2.0 version after the park evolution and serves as Taiwan's first "Future Park" with various possibilities.
