The October issue of the Taichung magazine was released on the 7th. The 2024 Taichung Comic Arts Festival wrapped up on September 29. The festival drew tens of thousands of anime and manga fans to Taichung. The Information Bureau of the Taichung City Government noted that the city government has been playing a key role in supporting the thriving development of the anime and manga industries in recent years. By organizing events, nurturing talent, and aiming to establish the National Taiwan Museum of Comics in Taichung, the city government is working to foster the industry's development. The Taichung magazine's October issue offers readers a glimpse into the charm of anime and manga in Taichung.

The Information Bureau noted that Taichung is committed to becoming the “Capital of Comic Arts.” The city government promotes the anime and manga industries by hosting events like the Taichung Comic Arts Festival and the Taichung International Animation Festival. They are also focusing on talent and infrastructure by introducing subsidies for original comics and launching the Taichung Animation Production Program, making it the first among the six municipalities to do so. These initiatives aim to support talented creators in pursuing their work without concerns. Additionally, the city government hosts annual workshops that encourage interdisciplinary collaboration between the anime and manga industries, allowing anime and manga to connect to various aspects of everyday life.
