To welcome the April Children’s Month filled with joy and hope, the Taichung City Government continues to demonstrate through concrete actions its strong commitment to child welfare and parent-child policies. In a special cross-bureau effort, it has launched the “Taichung Children’s Month” series of events to create a happy city dedicated to children. This year, the Social Affairs Bureau, Cultural Affairs Bureau, and Information Bureau have jointly planned three major themed events, including a Parent-Child Fun Party, a Children’s Arts Festival, and a Parent-Child Music Festival. Through diverse performances, hands-on activities, and interactive games, children can learn and grow amid laughter, while parents can also experience the fruitful results of the City Government’s child-friendly policies.
The first event to take the stage is the “2026 Parent-Child Fun Party,” organized by the Social Affairs Bureau, which will be lively held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, at Huludun Park (Area 1), kicking off Children’s Month. The event features a rich variety of activities, including a joyful balloon show, a speed diabolo/yo-yo show, a clown juggling interactive magic show, and a colorful bubble show. Fun activities and a themed market will also be arranged on site, and parent-child centers will specially design checkpoint games. Children who complete the challenges will receive exquisite small gifts, limited to 900 pieces while supplies last. We sincerely invite parents and children to having the fun together and enjoy a warm and joyful parent-child time.
