HIV testing

• If you have risky sexual behavior and suspect whether you are infected with HIV, you can have a test free of charge in the public health center in each district of Taichung City.

• If you wish to undergo anonymous HIV testing, you can find medical institutions offering anonymous testing at the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control website

If you have had sexual misconduct recently and want to have an HIV testing, please go directly to the public health center for blood tests, which will send the test samples to the Health Bureau for examination. You will be notified of the test results confidentially. None except you will know them.
