Fongjia Commercial District in general means all that is within a circumference of 1km of Feng Chia University, including Wenhua Road Tourism Night-Market, Fongjia Road, Fusing Road and Beacon Sun Plaza etc.. There are many fashion clothing and accessories, record stores, eyewear stores, various snack foods and restaurants, latest trendy 3G mobile phone and accessories, books and stationary, printing and binding, as well as boutique stores and night-market vendors, which are suitable for mass consumption.

The vicinity of Yizhong Commercial District includes National Taichung First Senior High School, National Taichung University of Science and Technology, as well as various main cram schools, in which student crowds gather to form a unique commercial district. It is also known as “Nanyang Street” of Taichung due to the numerous cram schools. Since it is located in the school district, Yizhong Commercial District is similar to other university commercial districts.
