Located in the Fongzhou area of Taichung City's Shengang District, it is conveniently located near the Taichung system interchange. It is also conveniently located to serve businesses in the Central Taiwan Science Park, as it sits right between the main science park area and the Houli branch of the science park.

Approved by the Ministry of Economic Affairs in 2008, it is planned to have 27.5 hectares dedicated to factory construction out of a total of 47.6 hectares allotted to the park.
