The Taichung City Precision Machinery Technological Park (台中市精密機械科技新園區) is situated between LingDong Road and PeiDe Road near the Number 3 Special Expressway. With an area of 125 hectares, the estimated operation costs are approximately NT$12400 per square meter. Major industries are precision machinery, tooling machines and related industries. The park is located on land previously owned by the Taiwan Sugar Corporation. It is part of the 'Dadushan Technology Corridor' which includes the Central Taiwan Science Park, The Taichung Industrial Park, which, with the new opening of cross-strait relations and the High Speed Rail system is geared towards being a regional technology hub.
