According to Article 33 of Employment Service Act, the employer shall report the laid-off employee’s name, gender, age, address, phone number, position, lay-off reason, job assistance matter to local agency and public employment service agency 10 days before the lay-off date. If the lay-off reason is related to natural disaster, event or other force majeure matter, the notice shall be reported 3 days after the lay-off. The violation to this regulation will be fined NTD 30,000-150,000 based on Article 68. The report procedure, map, name list and amend matters procedure is in the attached.
