Multiple Payment Options

Pay in Cash - at a counter of a financial institution

 

Taxpayers can make their tax payments in all financial institutions that collect taxes or at the counter set up by the Bank of Taiwan in our Office.




Pay at  Convenience Store

 

Taxpayers can also quickly and conveniently pay their taxes at each of the 4 convenience stores, which include 7-ELEVEN, Family Mart, OK Mart and Hi-Life, before the deadline of payment for the tax payable.

 

(Applicable to land value tax, house tax, vehicle license tax, land value increment tax, stamp tax, deed tax, amusement tax and fines if the tax amount is less than 30 thousand.)




Pay via ATM

 

To pay taxes, taxpayers can follow the instruction printed on the tax bill to transfer tax payments via ATM to the Revenue Service Office before the deadline of payment for the tax payable. Simply go to an ATM labeled with "Inter-Bank: Cash withdrawal + Transfer + Pay Tax".

 

(Applicable to land value tax, house tax and vehicle license tax)




Pay via Phone

 

Taxpayers can follow the instruction of the computer voice on the phone to pay taxes from their demand savings deposits account of a financial institution (or the post office) before the deadline of payment for the tax payable.

 

(Applicable to land value tax, house tax, vehicle license tax, land value increment tax, stamp tax, deed tax, amusement tax and fines, including those that have been transferred to the compulsory enforcement.)




Automatic Payment Transaction

 

Most conveniently, taxpayers can fill out a Direct tax payment/debit application form and apply to pay taxes directly from the deposits account of a financial institution (or the post office) for scheduled levying. Notice that applicants should register and apply two months before the Revenue Service Office starts to levy a particular tax.

 

(Applicable to land value tax, house tax and vehicle license tax)




Credit Card for Tax Payments

 

1.A taxpayer can utilize credit card to pay taxes via the internet or the phone before the deadline of payment for the tax payable.

(Applicable to land value tax, house tax, vehicle license tax, land value increment tax, stamp tax, deed tax, amusement tax and fines, including those that have been transferred to the compulsory enforcement.)

2.A tax payer or responsible person of profit-making business can bring a credit card or use the connected mobile payment method to a credit card to any branch of the Bureau and Motor Vehicles Office of Taichung District, Directorate General of Highways, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, Taichung City Motor Vehicles Office, or Fengyuan Motor Vehicles Office to make the payment at the services counter. The credit card shall be issued with institutions that join the “Credit Card Payment Platform of Public Services Agencies” of National Credit Card Center of R.O.C.
(Applicable to Land Tax, House Tax, Vehicle License Plate Tax, Land Added-Value Tax, Stamp Tax, Deed Tax, Entertainment Tax and fines, fines for tax overdue, and cases reported for violation)

Be careful, it can't be canceled or corrected once the authorization is successful.

 

Chip Finance Card for Tax Payments

 

To pay taxes, taxpayers can take use of a chip financial card issued by the financial institution which provide the service through the internet, and just follow the instruction of the web page to accomplish the procedure. Be careful, once the transaction is successful, it can't be canceled or modified.

Online Tax Viewing and Payment with Registered NHI IC Card , MOICA, MOEACA ID Card, financial instrument or TW FidO

Login at “https://net.tax.nat.gov.tw” with registered NHI IC Card or MOICA to pay tax online.

Pay Tax by Scanning QR-Code on Payment Document with Mobile Device

 

Scan QR-Code on the payment document with your mobile device and the tax information will be loaded automatically at https://paytax.nat.gov.tw
Tax can be paid online.

 

(Applicable to land value tax, house tax, vehicle license tax, land value increment tax, deed tax, amusement tax and fines, including those that have been transferred to the compulsory enforcement.)

 




Pay Tax with Mobile Payment APP

 

Scan the QR-Code on the payment document with APP equipped with mobile payment feature to pay tax online.

 

(Applicable to land value tax, house tax, vehicle license tax, land value increment tax, stamp tax, deed tax, amusement tax and fines, including those that have been transferred to the compulsory enforcement.)




Use MOICA, MOEACA, National Insurance Card or TW FidO to View and Pay Tax at Convenient Store Kiosk

 

Print your tax payment slip at the kiosk of convenient stores and pay at counter for tax less than 30,000 TWD.

 

(Applicable to Land Tax, House Tax and Vehicle License Tax)

 

 

TW FidO APP

Use a mobile device with biometric identification function (such as fingerprint, face identification and so on) to download TW FidO APP and through National Person’s Pin Code, register and link up to your cell phone on TAIWAN FidO Mobile Identity Identification Website ( https://fido.moi.gov.tw) to confirm your identification, a user can then log on online tax declaration website to pay or check your local tax via biometric functions on your cell phone during the tax payment periods of vehicle license plate, house, and land.

Tax Payment via Scanning of 3-Digit String Barcode with a Mobile Device

Use a mobile device to scan the barcodes app on the payment form for downloading and registration. Then click on the tax payment function and scan the barcodes to confirm tax payment information to make the payment without paying any handling fees. The system at present supports payments made via BeePay, LINE Pay Money, Easy Wallet and GAMAPAY. For information about relevant registration, payment making process, and items of attention, please see websites of mobile payment providers (applicable to license plate tax, house tax, land value tax, land value increment tax, stamp tax, deed tax, amusement tax and periodic stamp tax payment for declarations made online but excluding execution fees incurred by enforcement of tax arrears, fines and other tax arrears.)
