Drunk Driving
Drunk Driving

Since September 2002, drivers suspected or caught drunk driving can have their vehicles impounded by the police. Offenders would have to pay the necessary fines first before they will be allowed to retrieve their vehicles. In some cases, driver's licenses may be revoked.

Regular checkpoints are set up throughtout the city where policeman would stop vehicles and conduct breath alcohol testings on drivers. Those found with a blood alcohol level of 0.05% will be judged "unfit for safe driving" and may be arrested and prosecuted.
