The Parent-Child Art Festival is now open and perfect for both kids and adults to enjoy together! Since its inception in 2017, the Parent-Child Art Festival has become a regular and popular cultural event for families in Taichung. Every year, it features numerous performances designed for children, promoting family participation in the arts. This year, the festival will present ten different shows at the center's Amphitheater, Experimental Theatre, and Auditorium. Collaborating with groups like If Kids Theater Group, Kiss Me Theater Group, Drama Cooperative Theater Group, Sounds Good Chamber Orchestra, Little Frog Theater Group, and Eye Catching Circus, the festival will offer a variety of performances. These will include drama, concerts, circus acts, and interactive tech shows, providing children with diverse and enriching experiences, making every weekend exciting and memorable!
The shows are creatively designed, with actors portraying fantastical characters and narrating stories from a child-friendly perspective. These shows convey educational themes such as “global warming and environmental protection,” “interpersonal interactions and emotional management,” and “the courage to face challenges,” making learning more fun. Additionally, the shows feature the latest trending technology—AI voice generation, paired with a 3D model of the main character—Story the Superman, offering audiences a unique storytelling experience that merges the virtual and real worlds. From May 16 to June 23, there will be AR technology interactive character standees in the center's first-floor lobby. All are welcome to bring their phones and enjoy this free interactive experience at the center.
Attending the Parent-Child Art Festival provides not only a wide range of high-quality shows to enjoy but also get take-home gifts! After watching a show, you can receive a small gift by completing a survey. Additionally, by attending free shows at the Amphitheater, you can participate in a raffle to win the grand prize.
