Organized by the Taichung City Cultural Affairs Bureau, "2026 Artgogo" will run from August through September, connecting four themed art festivals. Bringing together 18 outstanding domestic groups—including Open Theater Group, Taiwan Yangqin Orchestra, Taipei Jazz Orchestra, and Taipei Percussion—the event features a vibrant lineup of children’s theater, traditional opera, jazz, Chinese music, percussion, tap dance, and circus arts, alongside diverse interactive workshops and cultural creative markets. Four Featured Art Festivals

• Yangqin Gathering Carnival (Aug 29–30 | Historical Building Yide Mansion)

Curated by Taichung Golden Arts Award winner Taiwan Yangqin Orchestra, featuring original local works like Loving Lake Pavilion and Taichung Old Station. Peking Opera legend Chu Lu-hao will perform classic excerpts such as Stealing Peaches and Elixir, with joint performances by Follow Your Heart Band and Footprints Tap Company.

• Big Band Jazz Carnival (Sep 5–6 | Taichung City Seaport Art Center)

Planned by Taipei Jazz Orchestra, uniting 7 big bands and over 100 performers for 7 hours of free outdoor shows across Swing, Bebop, Latin, Funk, and Fusion styles. On Sep 6, the ticketed auditorium show Old-School Party Night will feature classic Taiwanese songs in full big-band jazz arrangements.

• 2026 Open Pandora Theater Festival (Sep 12–13 | Taichung Museum of Fiber Arts)

Curated by Open Theater Group under the theme "Theater, Fiber, and Sustainability," featuring interactive children's stories Sleeping Prince and Little Red Riding Hood. Yinnalang Group presents the ticketed shadow show with hands-on light box workshops; Hello Manzai Studio delivers museum-inspired comedy; and Tien Circus Theater presents The Rain Star Fantasy, combining circus arts, theater, and environmental awareness.

• "Sounds of Taichung" Sustainable Family Art Festival (Sep 26–27 | Cultural Heritage Park, Ministry of Culture)

Curated by Taipei Percussion in collaboration with Timeart Studio and Circus P.S.. Featuring vibraphones, marimbas, and ocean drums alongside circus performers playing recycled bottles and cans, culminating in an innovative multi-zone interactive jam session.
