The Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Taichung City Government is organizing the 32nd National Children's Associative Drawing Contest, and the submission period for the preliminary round has just begun! To promote the event, the Building Blocks City - Parent-Child Workshop has been held. This workshop, centered around the theme “Future Cities Coexisting with Nature,” allows parents and children to create their dream cities using wooden ice cream sticks. Through their amazing creations, children’s boundless creativity and imagination are showcased. Submissions for the preliminary round will be accepted until October 11. Welcome children from across the country to participate.
The Huludun Cultural Center noted that the National Children's Associative Drawing Contest allows children to showcase their imagination and creativity. In recent years, it has integrated themes and current issues to encourage deeper thought and innovation. Thanks to the collaboration of businesses, schools, and government entities, the contest has been held for 32 years. The center expressed gratitude to YFY Inc. for their 20-year support in providing drawing paper, which has collectively contributed to promoting children's art education and benefiting generations of children.
Echoing this year's event theme, “Future Cities Coexisting with Nature,” the Building Blocks City Parent-Child Workshop has been held to kick off the submission process. During the workshop, fifteen parent-child teams use wooden ice cream sticks to build their dream houses. By exploring imaginative future cities and fostering environmental awareness, the workshop seeks to inspire future visions and aspirations. The resulting creations will be exhibited in the lobby until October 18. Everyone is invited to explore the imaginative and creative worlds created by the children.
The 32nd National Children's Associative Drawing Contest is accepting preliminary submissions from September 1 to October 11. All elementary students can request drawing paper to enter. Those who pass the preliminary round will participate in the final round on December 1. Winners can receive up to NT$5,000 in prize money. For more information and to request drawing paper, please visit the official website of the National Children's Associative Drawing Contest (https://childdrawings.huludun.taichung.gov.tw/).
