Results Announced for the Zhongshan Hall Youth Talent LIVE Show! Multi-School Team ‘Monsda Arts Studio’ and Huang Hsu-fei from National Chung Cheng University Win Top Prizes

The final of the 6th Zhongshan Hall Youth Talent LIVE Show 2024 took place on November 9th at the Zhongshan Hall outdoor plaza, where 20 outstanding teams from across the country showcased their talents in a exhilarating display of music and dance. The top prizes were awarded to the multi-school team “Monsda Arts Studio” in the Dancing category and to Huang Hsu-fei from National Chung Cheng University in the Music category. Special thanks go to Siliconware Precision Industries Co., Ltd. and the ASE Cultural and Educational Foundation for their sponsorship and support, which made this year’s event especially memorable.

Taichung Cultural Affairs Bureau Deputy Director Tseng Neng-ting attended on behalf of Mayor Lu Hsiu-yen, remarking that this event brought together the nation’s top 20 teams, each brimming with their youthful energy and talent, and showcasing their unique abilities in a spirited competition. The Zhongshan Hall has become a significant venue for art and cultural performances, with its outdoor plaza a popular gathering spot for young people to rehearse street dance, transforming it into a place where dreams take flight. Launched by the Cultural Affairs Bureau in 2019, the Zhongshan Hall Youth Talent LIVE Show has run for six consecutive years and has become a major annual event, offering young people a platform to showcase their talent and creativity. Each year, the competition attracts numerous student participants, making it a highly competitive and exciting event.

The Dadun Cultural Center noted that this year’s final competition was especially entertaining. From performances to costume design, each team's creativity and meticulous planning shone through, bringing the audience an experience filled with vibrant excitement and youthful energy. In the dance category, the top prize was awarded to the multi-school team “Monsda Arts Studio,” and the Jury’s Award going to “YDegg 2.0.” Awards for Best Creativity, Best Costume, and Most Popular were went to “Kitty House” from Youth Senior High School, "927 Silver Storm Dance Troupe" from the same school, and the multi-school group " Monsda Arts Studio," respectively. In the Music category, the top prize went to Huang Hsu-fei from National Chung Cheng University, with the Jury’s Award presented to Tian En-ting from Tungnan University won the Jury’s Award. Best Creativity, Best Costume, and Most Popular awards in Music were given to the multi-school team "OG.Cat," "ZX" from Overseas Chinese University, and "Zhou Shi Min Jia Ni" from Providence University, respectively. Additionally, the Corporate Sponsorship Special Award went to "TWINKLE" from Taipei University of Marine Technology in Dance and to the multi-school team "T.A.B Take a Break" in Music.

In addition to the high-energy music and dance competition, a variety of side activities turned the event into a vibrant youth festival. Attendees enjoyed complimentary taiyaki and drinks, while the online promotion “Join as a Trio, Get a Free Pizza” encouraged families and friends to join in. A raffle and a food market further added to the lively event atmosphere.
