As one of the largest public art exhibitions in Taiwan, the Taichung Contemporary Artists Invitational Exhibition has become a key benchmark in the domestic art scene. The exhibition showcases masterpieces by artists from Taichung, ranging in age from their 20s to their 90s, across 11 categories including Calligraphy, Seal Engraving, Oil Painting, Gouache, Watercolor, Prints, Sculpture, Crafts, Photography, and Other Media (including Mixed Media). It fully demonstrates the diversity and richness of Taichung’s art. Since its inception, the exhibition has attracted over 600,000 visitors, with more than 26 editions held as of 2024. It remains an essential platform for Taichung’s contemporary artists to present their annual creations.
