A full moon brings families together! This Mid-Autumn Festival, why not celebrate with a surprise party that is a little different? Taichung City Tun District Art Center will hold the Mid-Autumn celebration “Moon Party at Tun District” at its Outdoor Amphitheater at 3 p.m. on September 19 (Saturday). The event invites the highly popular children’s channel “MOMO Family” and “Uni Circus” to bring exciting stage performances, along with a Mid-Autumn story exhibition, fun interactive games, and limited giveaways. Children and adults are all welcome to come to Tun District for a wonderful party full of surprises and joy.
The Cultural Affairs Bureau of Taichung City Government said this event has specially invited “MOMO Family”, a favorite among families. Tree Brother, Yogurt Sister, and MOMO will lead children and adults in singing and dancing, spending a laughter-filled afternoon with kids through lively, energetic interaction. “Uni Circus” will present a fantasy magic show full of surprises, blending interactive magic, martial arts, pole acrobatics, dance, human pyramids, and other performance forms. Audiences will follow the performers into an imaginative fantasy world and enjoy the most magical Mid-Autumn adventure.
In addition to the exciting stage performances, the venue will feature a “Mid-Autumn Customs Story Exhibition”, using lively and engaging text and images to introduce the origins of the Mid-Autumn Festival and its traditional customs. Visitors can learn about festive culture through interactive exploration and feel the unique charm of this traditional holiday. The event will also feature the special game “Full Moon Lucky Wheel”, where successful challengers can receive a limited-edition “Bunny Coin Purse”. After the event, participants who complete a questionnaire can also redeem a cute and practical “Soft Q Bunny Hand Towel”, available while supplies last.
